let the total journey be y km

as it is mentioned that the man performs 2/15 of the total journey by train, So, the remaining jounrney = $$\frac{13y}{15}$$

the man completed 2/20 by bus and hence the remaining journey after this = $$\frac{18 \times 13y}{15 \times 20}$$ = $$\frac{39y}{50}$$

It is given that $$\frac{39y}{50}$$ = 10 Km

y = 12.8 km
