Question 105

If the measures of the angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1 : 2 : 3 and if the length of the smallest side of the triangle is 10 cm, then the length of the fa side (in cm) is

Let the angles be x, 2x, 3x
x+2x+3x =180 ++> x = 30 degrees

Hence, it is a 30-60-90 triangle.
The length of the smallest side i.e. the length of the side opposite the 30 degree angle = 10 cm
Hence, the largest side = Hypotenuse = 2*10 = 20 cm
