9/8=1+1/8
So, the series effectively becomes 1+1+1...10 times+1/2+1/4+1/8...10 terms
=> $$10+\frac{\frac{1}{2}(1-(\frac{1}{2})^{10})}{1-1/2}$$
=> $$10+(1-(\frac{1}{2})^{10})$$
