Although it is given that two unfortunate incidents happened with Mr.A, we cannot say with full conviction that misfortune 'never' comes alone. The word never makes it an over-stretched statement. Hence, the conclusion is a long drawn one.

As a watch is used to measure time, the barometer is used to measure pressure. Option B is close yet incorrect, as lactometer is used to measure milk's density.
