My teachers at T.I.M.E suggested me to read novels etc to improve vocab. But I don't like reading much for I lack the patience to wait upto 300 pages to find out what happens in the end. I keep skipping the pages and rather watch a 3 hour movie to find out the end. So what do I do to improve my vocab?

Lot many of my friends deal with the same kind of taste. You may very well improve your vocabs even by watching a good movie. All you need to do is consciously watch for new words which has been used in the movie you are watching and you may also take a note on list of such words, their usage, pronunciation and even the accent used. End of the day even that accounts on improving your vocab. Another suggestion for increasing your reading habit, try to pick a book on which a movie is made and make sure you have seen that movie as well. By doing so you will be knowing whats gonna happen and you would start focusing on the style of writing and other vocab improvising things.
Cheers!!
