JEE Mains April 5 Exam Analysis

Based on the Analysis of the JEE Mains April 5 Exam the overall difficulty in both Shift 1 and Shift 2 was easy to moderate. Chemistry was the most scoring part, and it was easy to achieve good marks in due to questions that were based on direct NCERT. Physics needed a compromise between conceptual knowledge and application of formulae. The most difficult and time-consuming questions in both shifts were mathematics, with the papers being full of long calculations. Precision and time management were major differences in the two shifts.

JEE Mains April 5 Shift 1 Paper Analysis

Shift 1 paper was considered easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. In physics, there were questions ranging from easy to moderate difficulty level, where the concepts involved included topics such as Modern Physics, Current Electricity, and Laws of Motion. The chemistry questions had a heavy focus on NCERT books, which made it easy for prepared candidates to get maximum marks. The most difficult portion was mathematics due to long calculations.

Section

Difficulty Level

Remarks

Physics

Easy to Moderate

Balanced mix of conceptual and numerical questions; Modern Physics, Current Electricity, Laws of Motion, and Thermodynamics were prominent

Chemistry

Easy

Mostly NCERT-based direct questions; strong weightage to Organic and Inorganic Chemistry; most scoring section

Mathematics

Moderate to Difficult

Lengthy and calculation-heavy; Calculus, Algebra, and Coordinate Geometry dominated; required strong time management

Overall

Moderate

Balanced paper; students with strong fundamentals and NCERT preparation performed well

JEE Mains April 5 Shift 2 Paper Analysis

The Shift 2 paper was considered moderate, and slightly more difficult than the Shift 1. Physics was medium-cheat and formula-cheat and an amalgamation of far-fetched and hands-on queries demanded a meticalculous use of conventional findings. Chemistry was not very difficult to moderate and direct NCERT topics and question of statements made it easy. Mathematics remained the longest of the time used, having Calculus, Coordinate Geometry and Algebra problems as the main distinguishing factors to the highest scoring individuals.
