CAT 2025 Exam Slots Out
The CAT exam takes place in three slots. As the CAT 2025 slots are officially out, you can check each of yours in your CAT admit card once they are released on November 12, 2025. The following are the three slot timings.

- Visit the official IIM CAT website.
- Go to the “Information Bulletin” or “Exam Details” section.

CAT Exam City Selection Process 2025
Your CAT exam city is allocated based on the preferences you selected while filling out the application form. The exam authority assigns centres according to seat availability and candidate preferences.
Important Notes:
- Allocation is based on; first-come, first-served basis. So, if you applied early, you will get the first option you chose.
- Once allotted, changes are not allowed after the correction window closes. At this moment, you can't make any changes.
- The allotted centre will be mentioned on the admit card only. Once the CAT admit card is released, download yours and make a physical copy.

How to Check CAT 2025 Slot Details from Admit Card
Once the CAT 2025 admit card is released, you can verify your slot and centre.
Follow these steps to check the CAT slot and center:
- First step is, visit the official CAT 2025 website.
- Log in with your user ID and password.
- Download your admit card from the dashboard.
- Scroll to the “Assessment Details” section.
- Note the exam date, shift, and centre address.
If the “Exam Shift/Centre” section shows “Not Updated,” you should check again after the revised date or once the admit card is officially available.
Important instructions for students on CAT exam day:
- Don't forget to carry the CAT 2025 admit card and a valid photo ID.
- Ensure you reach the centre at least one hour before the reporting time.
- Avoid carrying electronic devices, notes, or bags inside the venue. If you have, then leave them outside.
- Follow the seating plan and instructions from the invigilator. Also, ensure your name and photo are displayed on the monitor.
