XAT Syllabus 2023 PDF: Latest Pattern, Section-wise Important Topics for Preparation
The XAT syllabus is given by XLRI Jamshedpur and covers themes such as decision-making, verbal and logical ability, quantitative ability and data interpretation, general knowledge and essay writing. General knowledge and essay writing are not considered for percentile calculation but are assessed during the interview process. Download XAT syllabus 2023 PDF – The XAT syllabus was updated in 2018 by removing the Essay Writing subject from the test format. The exam lasts three hours (180 minutes). The XAT exam paper is broken into two sections:
Part 1- Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (Sectional time limit is 165 minutes)
Part 2-Â General Knowledge (Sectional time limit is 15 minutes)

XAT 2023 Syllabus & Exam Pattern PDF
The XAT is a computer-based online test. The maximum possible score in the XAT exam is 100 for 100 questions divided into four sections. Each successful answer receives a +1 mark, while each incorrect response receives a -0.25 point penalty. The XAT 2023 exam lasts three hours in total.
