Area of largest possible triangle with base 16 and perimeter 50? Ans - 120 however I am not able to get the solution

isosceles triangle then other two sides is 17 consider right angle triangle with base 8, hypotenuse 17 and height h Pythagoras => height=root(17^2 - 8^2)=15 area=16*15/2=120
