If $$\sin \theta$$ = 2/3, Find the value of $$\sec \theta$$ and $$\cot \theta$$.

Solution

$$\sin \theta = \frac{2}{3}$$

$$\sin\ =\frac{P}{H}$$ so, P = 2, H = 3 hence B = $$\sqrt{\ 5}$$

$$\sec \theta=\frac{H}{B\ }=\frac{3}{\sqrt{\ 5}}$$

$$\cot \theta=\frac{B}{P}=\frac{\sqrt{\ 5}}{2}$$
