Question 75

One angle of a triangle is half of a right angle and another angle is $$15^\circ$$ more than $$\frac{1}{3}$$rd of a right angle. Name the triangle based on its sides and angles.

One angle is $$\frac{90^\circ}{2} = 45^\circ$$ and another is $$30^\circ + 15^\circ = 45^\circ$$. The third angle is $$180^\circ - 45^\circ - 45^\circ = 90^\circ$$. With two equal angles the triangle is isosceles, and with a $$90^\circ$$ angle it is right angled.
