Solution

$$refugee_{1} \times days_{1} = refugee_{2} \times days_{2}$$

When the number of refugees increases, then the number of days food supplies rest is 'y' days.

$$300\times45=300\times15+(300+60)\times y$$

$$300\times45=300\times15+360\times y$$

$$5\times15=5\times5+2\times y$$

75=25+2y

2y = 75-25

2y = 50

y = 25 days
