A cuboidal container has length $$19\ \text{cm}$$ and height $$10\ \text{cm}$$. How wide must it be to hold $$19000\ \text{cm}^3$$ of liquid?
Volume of a cuboid is length times breadth times height. So the width is $$\frac{19000}{19 \times 10} = \frac{19000}{190} = 100\ \text{cm}$$. Since $$100\ \text{cm} = 1\ \text{m}$$, the container must be 1 m wide.
