If $$2^x = 64  and  4^y = 256$$,then find the value of $$\left(\frac{1}{x}\right) + \left(\frac{1}{y}\right)$$.

$$ 2^6=64 $$

$$ 4^4=256 $$

thus x=6, y=4

$$\frac{1}{6} +\frac{1}{4} $$

solving we get $$ \frac{5}{12} $$
