Solution

Probability to be defective for part I = $$\frac{9}{100}$$

Probability to be defective for part II = $$\frac{5}{100}$$

Final assembled problem will not be defective if part I and part II are not defective.

Probability = $$\frac{91}{100}\times\ \frac{95}{100}$$ = 0.8645

Answer is option B.
