A 160 m long train crosses a 740 m long bridge in 40.5 seconds. What is the speed of the
train?
The correct option is A.
The train travels the distance equal to the sum of the length of bridge and the length of train itself.
So speed of train = $$\frac{distance\ travelled}{time\ taken}$$
          = $$\frac{740+160}{40.5}$$ m/s
         = $$\frac{900}{40.5}$$ $$\times$$ $$\frac{18}{5}$$ km/h= 80km/h
