Solution
$$\Rightarrow$$Â Â PT$$^2$$ = PA. PB
$$\Rightarrow$$Â 8$$^2$$ = 5 x (PA + AB)
$$\Rightarrow$$Â 64 = 5 x (5 + AB)
$$\Rightarrow$$Â 12.8 = 5 + AB
$$\Rightarrow$$Â AB = 7.8 cm
Hence, the correct answer is Option D
