$$ If + means - , - means \times, \times means \div and \div means + $$ , then what will be the value of $$ 16 + 4 - 3 \div 8 \times 6 ? $$

Solution

As per the question , $$+ means - , - means \times, \times means \div and \div means +$$.

Replacing the sign in the equation ,

$$ 16 + 4 - 3 \div 8 \times 6$$ => $$ 16 - 4 \times 3 + 8 \div 6$$

$$16 - 4 \times 3 + 4 \div 3$$

= $$16 - 12 + 4 \div 3$$

= $$ 4 + \frac{4}{3} = \frac{16}{3}$$

So , the answer would be Option c)$$\frac{16}{3}$$
