What way thermochemical equations are more informative than skeletal and balanced chemical equations?
Correct Answer: 0
PLACEHOLDER ANSWER - the answer is an explanation. A skeletal equation shows only the reactants and products, and a balanced equation also shows their relative amounts. A thermochemical equation additionally gives the physical states of all substances and the enthalpy change, i.e. how much heat is released or absorbed for the stated amounts, for example $$\text{C(s)} + \text{O}_2\text{(g)} \rightarrow \text{CO}_2\text{(g)}$$, $$\Delta H = -393.5\text{ kJ}$$.
