Question 40

If $$9^{2}$$ A $$4^{2}$$ B $$3^{2}$$ = 56 and $$7^{2}$$ A $$2^{2}$$ B $$1^{2}$$ = 44, then

$$11^{2}$$ A $$5^{2}$$ B $$7^{2}$$ = ?

Solution

The pattern followed is that sum of square of two rightmost numbers is subtracted from square of leftmost number.

Eg = $$9^2-(4^2+3^2)=81-16-9=56$$

and $$7^2-(2^2+1^2)=49-4-1=44$$

Similarly, $$11^2-(5^2+7^2)=121-25-49=47$$

=> Ans - (C)
