If $$a = 5$$ and $$b = 15$$, then the value of $$\left(\frac{a}{b} + 1\right)\frac{b}{a} + (b - a)$$ is
Here $$\frac{a}{b} = \frac{1}{3}$$ and $$\frac{b}{a} = 3$$. So $$\left(\frac{1}{3} + 1\right) \times 3 = \frac{4}{3} \times 3 = 4$$. Adding $$b - a = 10$$ gives $$4 + 10 = 14$$.
