A body of mass 1 kg moves along a straight line with a velocity $$v = 2x^2$$. The work done by the body during displacement from $$x = 0$$ to 5 m is __________ J.
$$W = \Delta K = \frac{1}{2}m v_f^2 - \frac{1}{2}m v_i^2$$
Velocity function $$v = 2x^2$$
$$v_i (\text{at } x = 0) = 2(0)^2 = 0 \text{ m/s}$$
$$v_f (\text{at } x = 5) = 2(5)^2 = 2(25) = 50 \text{ m/s}$$
$$W = \frac{1}{2}(1)(50^2 - 0^2)$$
$$W = 1250 \text{ J}$$
