How many prime numbers are there between 30 and 60?

Solution

Checking each number between 30 and 60 for divisibility by 2, 3, 5 and 7, the primes are 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53 and 59. Every other number in this range has a factor other than 1 and itself. So there are 7 prime numbers.
