In ΔDEF measure of angle E is 90o. If cot D = $$\frac{5}{12}$$, and DE = 1cm, then what is the length (in cm) of side EF?

Given : DE = 1 cm and cot D = $$\frac{5}{12}$$
To find : EF = ?
Solution : In right $$\triangle$$ DEF,
=> $$cot(D)=\frac{DE}{EF}$$
=> $$\frac{5}{12}=\frac{1}{EF}$$
=> $$EF=\frac{12}{5}\times1=2.4$$ cm
=> Ans - (A)
