The total revenue generated by all the companies in-2014 is ₹3600 crore.
The revenue of C is 30% of the total revenue = 30% of 3600 crore = 1080 crore.
The revenue generated by A, B and D in the same year is $$\frac{7}{25}, \frac{2}{5}$$ and $$\frac{8}{25}$$ respectively of the remaining revenue
Or the ratio is 7:10:8 of the remaining amount of 2520 crore.
Revenue = Investment (100+profit%)
Revenue of A = (7/25)*2520 = 700 crore approx
Revenue of B = (10/25)*2520 = 1000 crore approx
Revenue of D = (8/25)*2520 = 800 crore approx
Percentage profits of A, B, C and D are 32%,30%,33% and 38%.
Investment of A = 700/1.32 = 530.30 crore
Investment of B = 1000/1.3 = 769.32 crore
Investment of C = 1080/1.33 = 812.03 crore
Investment of D = 800/1.38 = 579.79 crore
C makes the maximum investment in that year.
