During the extraction (Bessemer‐type or reverberatory furnace) of copper from its sulphide ore, the partially roasted matte contains both cuprous oxide $$Cu_2O$$ and cuprous sulphide $$Cu_2S$$. When this mixture is heated further, it undergoes self-reduction (also called auto-reduction or air-reduction).
The sulphide acts as a reducing agent for the oxide:
$$Cu_2S + 2\,Cu_2O \;\longrightarrow\; 6\,Cu + SO_2 \uparrow$$
Thus metallic copper is formed, while the sulphur is removed as gaseous $$SO_2$$.
The only products are copper and sulphur dioxide, matching Option A.
Option A which is: $$Cu$$ + $$SO_2$$
