‘$$A \times B$$’ means ‘A is the brother of B’.
‘$$A \div B$$’ means ‘A is the husband of B’.
If $$T \div V + Q - J \times M + U$$, then how is T related to J ?

Solution

here in the family tree plus sign refers to the husband and wife and all square boxes are male whereas all circles are female 

all the drop down lines represent the children of the above linked symbols and straight lines refers to siblings

by the given relation we know 

T is the husband of V and V is the mother of Q who is married to J  and J  is the brother of M  who has a son U therefore from the above diagram we can infer that T is father in law of J
