Indeed. Their extreme scores do affect normalizations. especially for GEM students who need to be on the topmost percentiles get affected the most for IIM ABC. You will find several folks yapping and defending educators giving the CAT paper themselves for whatever reason as its a part of their business flex that XYZ faculty has scored 100 percentile for 6 consecutive times or so. Its honestly skewed in so many ways especially due to a lack of upper age limit for attempting the paper. your only hopes are to not be on the slot where these oldies are going to sit.

bro scaling is not done based on the score of a single person so chill. overall people have performed well in varc and dilr of slot 3 that's why it Is being scaled down in percentile predictors just wait for the official result.
