[E] the data even in both statements I and II together are necessary to answer the question. **Which is the right answer? As per solutions it is E. But, I feel The answer should be D because it is mentioned nowhere in the question that Mohan cannot read the same book again or on the following day. Neither it is mentioned that Mohan has completed book A the previous night. Had any of the above two points mentioned in the question, the answer would have been E.**
