In the Surds and Indices module, the first video at 3:20, it is said that when the surd in denominator is multiplied by its conjugate in both numerator and denominator, then we get, as in the example, (a- rt.b)/(a^2 - b^2). I don't understand how that can be because I think it will because I think it will be (a- rt.b)/(a^2 - b).
