The best way to maximize your score in Verbal section is by improving in RC. Most of the other topics in Verbal such as Para Jumbles, Para completion etc. are based on the same skill set as Reading Comprehension - comprehension skills. So, if you improve your score in RC, you will observe that you automatically improve your score in the other topics as well.
Read a few articles everyday and make a summary of the important points in each article. Once this is done, compare it with the original article and check if you have missed any important points. This helps you improve your comprehension skills. Besides this, try to solve at least 2 RC passages everyday.
