how do i solve RC?

RC is the most important topic in the Verbal section. The best way to go about preparing for RC is to read as widely and as deeply as possible. Because the exam is not far away, try to solve as many RC passages as possible. A good source would be CAT previous years' papers. In every RC, try to get the crux of what the passage is talking about. In addition to this, try to understand what each paragraph of the passage is talking about. In the questions, there are two types - generic and particular. For generic questions, you have to use your overall understanding of the passage. For specific questions, you can always go back to the particular paragraph and solve it.
