Data Interpretation is one of the more important topics in CAT, especially in the new format. Similar to other topics, the one thing that can help you master DI is sheer practise. If you solve a large number of DI sets, you will get an understanding of the patterns in which the different types of questions can be asked. Previously in CAT, some of the DI sets were calculation intensive. We might see a decrease in that trend because of the introduction of calculators for this year. So, concentrate more or logical DI sets like Games and Tournaments, Maximising and minimising numbers in Venn Diagrams etc.
