hello, I have 2 years of work ex, I quit my job and came back to my home town as my father suffered from a brain stroke. so since November 2018, I haven't worked anywhere as my family need me at their disposal at all times. I don't think he will be able to recover any time soon. However, will this affect my chances in the personal interview as I will not be able to work till I appear for the 2019 CAT exam?

Hi, If you can justify your gap, it will not affect your chances in the interview. Since you have taken the gap for a genuine reason, you can tell the panellists about the same if the topic springs up in the interview. However, be prepared with questions that are likely to follow.
