CAT 2021 Registrations
IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA), the convening IIM for CAT 2021, shared the exam registration number shortly after the closure of CAT Registrations on September 22. “Approximately 2.31 lakh candidates have successfully enrolled for CAT 2021,” according to IIMA. The number of candidates who registered for the CAT last year was 2.28 lakh. CAT Registration Trends – Only 1.95 % CAGR in 10 Years
In the last ten years, CAT exam registrations have increased only modestly. From 2013 to 2019, the number of CAT exam applicants increased from 2.05 lakhs to 2.44 lakhs. On a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) basis, this is a 1.95 percent increase. If we consider CAT 2020 registrations, which have dropped significantly to 2.28 lakhs as a result of COVID 19, the CAGR will be even lower.
