Solution

The number of ways you can divide 6 different candies to 4 different people is given by,

 = $$6_{C_{4}}$$ or $$6_{C_{2}} = \frac{6 \times 5}{1 \times 2} = 15$$

The number of ways you can divide 7 different candies to 3 different people is given by,

= $$7_{C_{3}} = \frac{7 \times 6 \times 5}{1 \times 2 \times 3} = 35$$

Quantity B is greater than quantity A.

Hence, option B is the correct answer.
