3rd digit : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, can be any of the following. So 10 ways

4th digit : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, can be any of the following. So 10 ways

So, 10^4 ways.
