Solution

Area of trapezium = $$\frac{1}{2} \times$$ (sum of parallel sides) $$\times$$ height

Sum of parallel sides = (16 + 20) = 36 m and height = 10 m

=> Area = $$\frac{1}{2} \times 36 \times 10$$

= $$18 \times 10=180$$ $$m^2$$
