Read the below data table and answer the following question.

If the company has Issued six lakh shares between its five partners and if Basu offers to sell 15,000 of his shares to Ejaz, then Ejaz will have how many shares?

Solution

Total shares = 6,00,000

Original shares with Ejaz = $$\frac{45}{100} \times 600000 = 2,70,000$$

If Basu offers to sell 15,000 of his shares to Ejaz,

=> Shares with Ejaz = 2,70,000 + 15,000 = 2,85,000

=> Ans - (D)
