In a row of people Manu is 7th from bottom end of row. Shrey is 10 ranks above Manu. If Shrey is 8th from top end, then how many people are there in this row?
Solution
Manu's position from bottom end = 7th
=> Shreya's position from bottom end = 7 + 10 = 17th
Also, Shreya's position from top end = 8th
$$\therefore$$ Total number of people = (17+8) - 1 = 24
=> Ans - (C)
