Rahul leaves his home and walks 5 km towards east, turns in the south-east direction and walks for 10km, then he turns north-east and moves 10 km. Again, he moves towards the north for 10km. In which direction is he now from starting point?

Solution

Let Rahul starts from point A and walked 5 km towards east to reach B, then turned south-east and travelled for 10 km and from point C, he travelled another 10 km towards north-east. Finally he walked 10 km north to stop at point E.

Thus, he is in North-east direction from his starting point.
