Kajal left home for a hospital. She travelled 5 km towards east, then turned towards south-east to travel another 10 km, then again she turned towards north-east to travel 10 km and finally, she reached the hospital. In which direction is hospital with respect to her house?
Solution
Kajal started from point A and travelled 5 km east to reach B, then turned south-east and travelled for 10 km, from point C, again travelled 10 km towards north-east direction and reached the hospital at point D.
Thus, the hospital is east of her house.
