A shopkeeper sells wheat at a profit of 20% and for weighing uses a weight which is 10% less than the actual weight. What is his total profit percentage?
Let cost price of shopkeeper = Rs. 1000/kg => Re. 1/gm
Selling price after 20% profit = $$1000+(\frac{20}{100}\times1000)=Rs.$$ $$1200$$
Selling price = Rs. 1200/900gm
=> Profit % = $$\frac{(\frac{1200}{900}-1)}{1}\times100$$
= $$\frac{300}{900}\times100=\frac{100}{3}$$
= $$33.33\%$$
