b+c+d=40     ...(2)

Next, we are given that b = (a+c+d)/3
a+c+d = 3b
c+d = 3b-20
Substituting this in (2), we get:

4b-20=40
b=15

Giving c+d = 25 ....(3)

Finally we are given that c=(a+b+d)/4
20+15+d=4c
d=4c-35

Substituting this in (3), we get:
5c-35=25
5c=60
c=12

Giving d=13
