Instructions

In the following questions, the symbols ⊕ , ©, =, @ and @ are used with the following meanings:
P ⊕ Q means P is greater than Q
P © Q means P is either greater than or equal to Q.
P = Q means P is equal to Q.
P @ Q means P is smaller than Q.
P @ Q means P is either smaller than or equal to Q.
For each set of questions you have to assume given statements to be true and then decide which of the two given conclusions is/are definitely true. Giver answer:

Statements : U ⊕ N, S © Q, N @ D, O = U
Conclusions :
I. N @ S
II. U = D

Solution

Following are the interpretations: U>N, S>Q or S=Q, N<D, and Q=U

1. N<S: Since Q=U, Q>N. Now, S has to be greater than or equal to Q. Hence, N<S.

2. U=D: Since U>N, and N<D, we cannot be sure about the relation between U and D.
