Solution

We shall assume the dice in fig. (ii) to be rotated so that the 5 appear at the same position as in fig. (i) and 1 appears at the same position as in fig; (i) means on Front face . Then, from the, two figures, 2 appear on the top face and 4 appear on the Bottom face.

Since, these two faces are opposite to each other, therefore, 2 is opposite of 4.
