Whats the meaning of “IF TRUE” in questions that ask about the option least/most likely to support views

It simply means if we consider the options absolutely true are they aligning with authors arguments or not and vice versa.

it simply means that - for the time being, we should assume that whatever is said is true even though it may not have been given in the entire RC but for the time being (for the sake of answering the question) assume that those sentences are true and we need to answer accordingly.......
