what sequence of topics should we follow in algebra for quants ?

being from a non math background , I've been facing a lot of issues in algebra . I've started with arithmetic and then completed geometry as well after completing it. when I started algebra , I started it with linear and then quadratic equations ? then inequalities but facing a lot of issues in understanding concepts . could you please tell me the proper sequence of doing topics in algebra ???
