What is the pass mark for the CAT exam?

There is no pass mark as such in CAT. It follows the percentile system. CAT is an exam where students score an enviable 100 percentile as well. It is not essential to get a 100% but then (99 percentile+) is the score that is the minimum qualifying criteria if you want to get into an IIM under General Category. IIMs release admission criterion year on year right before the CAT notification. It'll be available on their official websites. Candidates can check the required criterion for different categories.
