The concept of "man-days" can be used here. If you don't know this concept you can understand it from anywhere, it won't take much time and will help in all time and work problems.
If 50 people work for 25 days then they have worked for 50 x 25 = 1250 man days. According to the question this is equal to only 40% of the total work so the total work becomes 100/40 * 1250 = 3125 man days. 60% work is remaining so 3125 *60%= 1875 man days of work is left. Only 50 people will be working on this. Hence, they will need 1875/50 = 37.5 days to complete this work. This means in total these 50 people took 25+37.5 days = 62.5 days to complete the work which had to be done in 50 days. So they are 62.5-50= 12.5 days behind schedule.
I hope this helps :D

Yes Monika I did not take any coaching but in July I don't why but I was feeling lost so I bought IMS self study course but it hasn't been of much help. The dashboard and questions are good but I did not really require it. Could have just purchased the mocks. And their mocks too are way too difficult than real CAT. So it is kind of demotivating sometimes. The sectional tests are good

I am still behind on LRDI, so i don't know what should I tell you :D
I am trying to improve in this section currently through mocks and practicing sets which I couldn't attempt in the mock. Thats all I am doing actually. I think 200-300 sets should be enough for this section. So i take and LRDI sectional mock test from Cracku or IMS every other day.

For VARC, I didn't build concepts from anywhere. I just regularly take IMS and Cracku sectionals. This section has been my strength since the beginning so I did not have to learn new skills. But you can refer to youtube channels for some tips and tricks to help you solve RCs in a better manner. But these are mostly just reading tricks and focus on reading speed.

Hi Monika. So when I started preparing in the month of May, I bought Arun sharma sir quant books and followed the youtube channel Rodha. That was the most helpful thing during my initial days. I think the book is pretty good and has plenty of questions to be help you fully understand a topic. I you want to clear a few topics you can refer to the Quantitative aptitude book by Arun Sharma sir since it will help you practice a lot of questions. And for understanding the concepts you can refer to Rodha youtube channel and then solve cracku mocks.
